Mike is infatuated with the process of filmmaking from content development and script writing, to shooting, lighting, directing and editing. His passion for creative endeavors and curiosity drives him to learn as much as possible about the entire process. With his background in music production, it was second nature to transition to post sound production & foley for film.

 After becoming acquainted with the post production process of sound, he began working onset as a sound recordist, and continued to refine his skills as a sound recordist but also his knowledge of the filmmaking process. 

He soon began investing in his own equipment to begin learning first hand about the process of shooting, lighting, directing, and immediately fell in love with the complexity of the art. He started taking on more jobs as a producer or director of photography and began refining his style and understanding of the process.

Mike now specializes in documentary/reality TV style narratives as well as scripted family drama-horror genre narratives.  He works with crew members from all over the north east, and has a wide network of other filmmakers who specialize in their respective trades.
